Hi, I'm Meg — wife, mother, follower of Jesus, and the heart behind Joie Studios.

I created Joie Studios from a deep love for motherhood and a desire to preserve the beauty that often goes unnoticed in everyday family life. As mothers, we spend so much of our days pouring ourselves out in quiet ways—comforting, nurturing, serving, guiding, and loving our children through every season. Some of the most meaningful moments happen in the ordinary: tiny hands reaching for comfort, windswept curls at sunset, laughter shared between siblings, and the familiar weight of a baby resting on your shoulder.

These moments may seem small now, but they become the memories we cherish most.

My approach to photography is rooted in the belief that motherhood is sacred and that beauty is found not in perfection, but in presence. I am less interested in perfectly posed portraits and more interested in documenting connection, emotion, movement, and the unique story God is writing within your family.

When you step into a Joie Studios session, my hope is that you feel seen, cared for, and free to simply be with your people. Together, we'll slow down, chase the sunset, embrace the beautiful imperfections, and preserve this season exactly as it feels right now.

Years from now, I want these photographs to remind you not only of what your family looked like, but of what it felt like to love and be loved in this season of life.
